Dr Avijit Ghosh is currently working as a Scientist at ICAR-INDIAN GRASSLAND AND FODDER RESEARCH INSTITUTE Jhansi. He has published more than 70 international research papers and many book chapters.
He has developed the concept of soil functionality in eco-restored lands. He has significantly contributed to the restoration of pasturelands in India.
He has been awarded the Young Scientist Award by Indian Science Congress, Japan International Award for Young Agricultural Researchers by Japan Govt, DST Young Scientist and Technologist Research Grant by Government of India.
