Biography
Caleb
is an environmental and energy lawyer with Templars. He is the founder and team lead at Earthplus, an environmental nonprofit organization delivering sustainable environmental solutions across Africa. He is a Fellow of the Barrack Obama Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center (RLC) Fellowship, the US Carrington Youth Fellowship (CYFI) and Climate Tracker. He was one of 17 delegates from across Africa trained on climate reporting by Climate Tracker in Addis Ababa in 2017. He was also one of 50 delegates to the African Union AGYI Ideation Forum in Gaborone.
In 2018, he spoke at TEDx OAU on alternative uses of plastic waste to produce electricity and was also selected to speak to lawyers from across Africa on Environmental Law at the African Bar Association conference in Nairobi, Kenya. Caleb won the JCI Nigeria Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) of the Year award for Environmental and Moral Leadership in 2018. He has written widely on the subject of the environment in all major national dailies and elsewhere.
