BIOGRAPHY

Ric Hassani is a Nigerian Singer, Songwriter, and Musician. He was born on 6 January 1989, in Port Harcourt Nigeria. Ric Hassani graduated from Covenant University in Nigeria, after which he attended the University of Surrey, where he earned a master's degree in energy economics.

He released his debut album "The African Gentleman" in 2016 and was nominated in three categories at the 2016 All Africa Music Awards: Best Artiste in African R&B and Soul, Video of the Year, and Most Promising Artiste. He also received two nominations at The Headies 2016, including Best Alternative Song for "Gentleman". In December 2018, the Falz and Olamide assisted "Believe" won Best Collaboration at the Galaxy Music Awards. He also recorded the official sound track for the David Oyelowo directed movie "The Water Man" which amongst the producers is Oprah Winfrey herself.

Ric Hassani embarked on his global tour in 2019 where he toured The United States, France, Mayotte, Malawi, Cameron, Honduras, Mauritius, and South America.

He released his sophomore album "The Prince I Became" 26th of February, 2021 which was followed by his deluxe album that premiered on the 14th of May 2021.
