Aimed at original and innovative start- up projects, the grant presents an opportunity for early career scientists, conservationists or educators. Targets local projects conducted by local project leaders. Only projects concerned with marine chondrichthyan species (sharks, rays, skates, sawfishes and chimaeras) will be considered.

Funding information: The RISE grants challenge seeks to fund up to six projects between USD 100,000 - USD 400,000 each, with implementation timelines of 18-24 months.

Calling for well-defined research proposals that will generate evidence on “what works” i.e., what interventions are effective and successful in lowering the gender gap in economics.
