Abstract

Sustainability is a grand challenge of our generation and we need to empower a future generation of engineers and entrepreneurs to ideate creative solutions. Currently, universities offer entrepreneurship education through electives and/or minor courses. We propose to augment this learning through Entrepreneurial Minded Learning (EML). Infusing sustainability-focus and EML in engineering education will enhance students’ awareness and curiosity about sustainable design and inspire them to add value to current solutions. Through this work-in-progress, we aim to create a “sustainability project-based” intervention in the curriculum for inculcating an Entrepreneurial Mindset and measuring it through students’ self-perceptions and class performance.
