The World Sustainability Conference, WSC, is an annual gathering of renowned sustainability experts and academia to proffer actionable solutions to sustainability challenges. It is a confluence of prominent sustainability speakers and presenters, who in pursuit of academic excellence are granted the opportunity to present their original research findings before a distinguished audience.
This year’s forum will focus on the theme: Repositioning and Transitioning Global Sustainability Beyond COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic has not spared the nobility of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. As policymakers enact recovery strategies, sustainability must be repositioned and transitioned if those strategies are to be consolidated. Based on this backdrop, we are convening global leaders and stakeholders to heed the clarion call to tackle the underlying challenges of sustainable development: To leave no one behind. To eradicate extreme poverty. To ensure the sustainability of the planet. To foster cooperation and prosperity for everyone.
Poster sessions, policy panel discussions, and academic presentations will demonstrate the broad scope of research activities being conducted at various universities, colleges and other tertiary institutions around the world, while keynote talks from industry experts will provide opportunities for discussion and networking amongst students and professionals around the world.
